The Seeno Companies
Project Manager
JULY 2024 - PRESENT
During my time as Project Manager for the IT Department at The Seeno Companies—a network of nine entities including Albert D. Seeno Construction, Sierra Pacific Properties, and Legacy Builders—alongside my daily responsibilities, I led two major initiatives designed to enhance departmental efficiency and streamline workflows.
1. Development of a New Quoting Workflow
SEPTEMBER 2024 - OCTOBER 2024
⚙️ The Problem: Inefficiencies Slowing Us Down
The existing quoting process was manual, time-consuming, and error-prone, leading to delays in project progress and inefficiencies in operations.
Determined to find a solution, I researched, tested countless tools, and evaluated their pros and cons. However, no existing tool struck the right balance—some were too expensive, others were overly complex, and none quite fit our specific needs.
That’s when I took a different approach: Instead of trying to force an imperfect solution, I decided to build a custom system tailored to our workflow.
🛠️ Building the System: A Smarter, More Efficient Approach
To create a system that truly worked for our needs, I identified three core requirements:
✅ A centralized product catalog – Frequently ordered items for quick selection.
✅ An automated quote generator – Dynamic calculations based on products and quantities.
✅ An intuitive approval workflow – Routing quotes for digital signatures and tracking their status.
After researching different approaches, I realized I could leverage Excel formulas combined with Adobe PDF functionalities to build an automated, structured database. The result? A streamlined quoting system that enabled:
Fast, automated quote generation in minutes.
Seamless submission for management approval workflows.
Centralized organization, eliminating manual errors and inefficiencies.
By combining familiar tools in a new way, I turned a frustrating process into a smooth, automated workflow—without requiring expensive software investments.
🔄 Introducing the Change: Overcoming Resistance
Change is never easy—especially when a company has long relied on paper-based processes. Initially, there was hesitation about adopting a new digital system, with some employees preferring to stick to the old methods.
To address this, I focused on adoption through familiarity:
✔ Leveraged Adobe E-Sign – A platform users were already comfortable with, making the transition easier.
✔ Simplified the learning curve – Ensured the new system mirrored the old process, just with added automation.
✔ Built confidence with automation – Features like tracking approvals, sending reminders, and real-time status updates helped gain trust in the system.
By making the transition intuitive and showing clear benefits, even the most reluctant users embraced the change.
🚀 The Results: A Measurable Impact on Department Efficiency
This system has been extremely transformative for our department.
📈 Key Improvements:
40% reduction in quote processing time, significantly boosting productivity.
Improved accuracy by eliminating manual calculations.
Faster user response times, enhancing satisfaction and trust.
💡 I gained valuable insights into the accounting department’s operations—turns out, mastering the VLOOKUP formula goes a long way!
Beyond the numbers, this project was an amazing opportunity to combine creative problem-solving, collaboration, and technical innovation. It reinforced the power of automation and how small process improvements can create lasting efficiency.
2. Seeno Homes Website Rebrand and Launch
JULY 2024 - DECEMBER 2024
🎯 Objective: A Modern Identity for a Legacy Brand
The company website, while functional, no longer represented the evolving brand. Tasked with leading the rebrand, I saw it as an opportunity to modernize not just the design but the perception of Seeno Homes.
Our initial goal was to align the website’s design with the company’s rebranding efforts, starting with a new logo and color scheme. I participated in discussions about the brand’s visual identity and collaborated to select a color palette that balanced trust and renewal: royal blue for its sense of reliability and luxury, and lime green for its fresh, calming tone. This thoughtful design choice reflected the company’s evolving values and direction.
📌 Key Actions: Driving a Cohesive & User-Focused Experience
My roles included:
Coordinated with cross-department teams to define goals, balance user needs with company objectives ensure every step of the project aligned with the company’s vision and operational goals.
Oversaw the site’s functionality to create a user-focused experience to allow new homebuyers a seamless and easy-going first impression with Seeno Homes.
Crafted engaging content that honored Seeno’s legacy while appealing to modern buyers.
Embedded SEO strategies to improve visibility and partnered with marketing to amplify the launch.
A key highlight was leading the C-suite pitch for the redesigned website. I delivered a speech emphasizing the impact of first impressions, positioning the website as the digital face of the brand. My presentation secured executive approval and enthusiasm for the project and new visual branding.
🔧 Tackling Challenges: Problem-Solving for a Seamless Launch
During my time as Project Manager, I faced several complex challenges that required innovative problem-solving and collaboration across teams.
🔍 Challenge 1: Integrating Sales-Management Systems
One of the biggest hurdles was synchronizing multiple sales platforms to ensure accurate, real-time updates on available properties. The challenge lay in:
✅ Identifying where data was entered and resolving discrepancies across four different platforms.
✅ Managing images, content, and property details to ensure consistency across the website.
✅ Developing an efficient data flow that seamlessly integrated with our custom CRM, improving listing accuracy.
This required deep technical understanding of each platform, proactive troubleshooting, and collaboration between sales, IT, and marketing teams to ensure data integrity across platforms.
📜 Challenge 2: Ensuring Legal Compliance & Data Privacy
With new digital privacy regulations, we needed to ensure the Seeno Homes website met state and federal compliance standards. Working alongside the General Counsel, I helped implement:
✔ User Consent Features – Developed a cookie consent banner giving users control over their data.
✔ Privacy & Compliance Integration – Ensured adherence to California privacy laws, embedding legal protections seamlessly into the user experience.
✔ Third-Party Tracking Adjustments – Strategically modified Google Tag Manager & Facebook Pixel settings to align with compliance standards.
By proactively addressing these concerns, we created a transparent, legally compliant platform that also reinforced user trust and accessibility.
🏆 Impact & Outcomes: Delivering Tangible Results
This project was both a rewarding challenge and a pivotal opportunity to contribute to a comprehensive rebranding effort. It allowed me to refine my skills in product management and cross-departmental collaboration, while tackling complex technical and legal challenges with a user-first mindset.
🎯 Key Milestones:
✅ Successful Website Launch – The new website went live on December 20th, a critical milestone in Seeno Homes’ modernization strategy.
✅ Creative Storytelling – Produced a post-launch video highlighting the new site’s features, released in time for the holiday season to drive further engagement.
✅ Enhanced Accessibility & Transparency – Implemented ADA-compliant design features
to make the site inclusive and user-friendly.
The success of this launch not only reinforced the importance of user-centered design but also demonstrated the impact of aligning business goals with customer needs.

Additional Contributions:
In addition to the website work, I took on the responsibility of creating a surprise birthday video for the company owner, a personal project that introduced me to 4K video production. This was my first time working with Final Cut Pro, a platform I quickly mastered. My efforts resulted in having produced all the content for the holiday party, which was prominently displayed and well-received by attendees.
This experience was deeply fulfilling, as it allowed me to see my work celebrated and enjoyed by the entire company. It underscored the value of embracing challenges and learning new tools to contribute meaningfully across different facets of a project.
